In the mid-17th century, near the end of the 30 years' war, a trio of magical adventurers team up to upend the plans of an evil french commander and alchemist. To do this they must travel the Mediterranean and Europe and slowly uncover an age-old alchemical conspiracy. Throughout their journey, they will face people with strange and elaborate powers and find themselves at the center of some of the most pivotal points in history. As the first of my 3 modern comics, this one is a bit rough art-wise. I'm using it as practice, a way to experiment with my style while telling a grand and expansive story that'll last a good while.
This comic is an Egyptian fantasy adventure where people use magic crystals called "Cryst" for many aspects of daily life. After a catastrophic event, Gunzin Patolk must uncover the mystery of their lost brothers and rediscover the land of Almeihu after a decade of isolation. He comes to learn that he is not the only person with strange powers, and many of the others aren't as understanding of his cause...This may the middle child of my 3 modern comics, but it is far from awkward. I feel like this comic has the most potential for a congruent story and theme and I've been using it as a way to force me to get better at writing and visual storytelling. This one will likely keep a very similar art style and story throughout, with of course the wild twists and turns any story must have.
In a near future, two very different indeviduals meet as if by fate. Worlds collide, as they must now work together to tear down the plans of those that lurk in the shadows, slowly discovering that they are not so different from one another. This comic is a project of passion, and thus I will likely only work on it when I feel in the right headspace. While I do have a story in mind for this, I want to keep the style somewhat loose. At the same time though, I'll be using it as practice for a much simpler artstyle, which means pages will be easier and quicker to make and I'll have more time to add in some flair. I hope you enjoy it, cause in this one I do have something important to say, and I hope it doesn't land on deaf ears.
